There really wasn't a big change today. The Occupational Therapist did come and feed her at her 11 o'clock meal. Bentley took all of her 36mL bottle for her. We were the two proudest parents in Children's Hospital at that moment. She only takes about 1/2 of her day feedings. I think she has her nights and days mixed up because she sleeps all day and doesn't do as well during her feedings. Then at night she's awake more and does great during her feedings. She is catching on though.

  1. Jamie, she is so beautiful and so alert! I'm so happy to hear about how well she is doing with her feedings. She WILL get it so don't get discouraged. God is good and is loving her so much! Blessings on you and your sweet family! Renae

  2. It is normal for babies to get their days and nights mixed up. Glad to hear that she is eating more.

  3. Shawn and Jamie: - You are both doing a beautiful job with Bentley and we are so proud of you! All babies need time to get adjusted to this old world and for our precious Bentley, she's still getting there! She is making wonderful progress and is so alert - certainly the sign of a GOOD reader! Can't wait to see all of you this week-end and read to our darling granddaughter! Poppy will be here next week, and he's too excited for words. He says that no amount of Colorado weather can stop him - let's hope that's true!!!!! He truly longs to hold our precious Bentley for the first time!

Have a good day - we love and pray for all three of you constantly!

  4. Oh my guys!! I am so excited for Bentley (and Mom and Dad too)! She is doing so well, just as you would expect since she has the strength of two parents to get her there. You both are wonderful! I hope time is passing quickly for you all and that you will be on the road soon enough headed home for good. I can't wait to meet her and give you both big hugs. Miss you guys so much and if you need anything done up here, let us know! We love you and will see you soon!!! Brandy, Gabe, Madeline, and Caleb
