Bentley is still doing so good. Yesterday she took a complete 5 out of 8 feedings!! And the other three she took over half:) We asked a nurse who has been doing this for years how Bentley compared to other TE fistula babies and she told us that the majority of them aren't even taking a bottle at this point. That means that our little Bentley is doing EXCEPTIONALLY well.
She met with her Occupational Therapist again. She is so nice and eager to teach us how to handle our "difficult feeder." They know lots of tricks of the trade.
Shawn is working down here. He is so happy to get back to work and create a sense of normalcy to this home away-from-home situation. We really can't thank his company and my work enough for all of their help.
We have had so many blessings given to us during this time and we are eager to pay it forward in the future.
Shawn and Jamie... What a Beautiful little Girl you two have created, you have been very blessed! I want to thank you for giving us the Honor of being Bentley's Grammy & Grandpa...
